How does SnapFixx work? Describe your issue, pick a vetted technician with live ETA, track their arrival, pay in-app at completion, rate the job.
What does a visit cost? Flat published rates — most jobs $89–$299. See the rate card on the home page. HST/GST added at checkout.
Is my technician background-checked? Yes — identity, RCMP-level criminal record, employment eligibility, certifications and insurance, via accredited Canadian partners.
What if I'm not satisfied? Open a dispute within 72 hours — re-work or refund under the Happiness Guarantee.
What is the cancellation policy? Free more than 24h ahead; see Refunds.

How do I join? Apply on the home page. Verification usually completes in 3–5 business days. Joining is completely free — there is no registration or activation fee. We cover the cost of your background check, and we only earn a service fee when you complete a paid job.
How do payouts work? You earn 80% of each service price plus 100% parts reimbursement, direct-deposited every Friday for the prior Mon–Sun.
What insurance do I need? Your own liability coverage, with the minimum depending on your service category: $1M for IT and tech support, $1M–$2M plus bonding for cleaning, $2M for handyman work, $2M+ for licensed electrical, plumbing and gas, and $2M including malpractice cover for beauty and personal care. A valid certificate is required at onboarding and must stay current — a lapse suspends your account automatically.
Taxes? You are an independent contractor. We issue a T4A for earnings over $500/yr; GST/HST registration is your responsibility past $30K revenue.

Slow Wi-Fi? Restart modem and router, test speed next to the router vs far away — if the gap is large, you likely need mesh. We can install it.
Suspect a virus? Disconnect from the internet, don't enter passwords, and book a malware-removal visit.
