How to make a request

Email privacy@snapfixx.ca with the subject line Data Request. Use the template below so we can verify and process it without going back and forth.

Copy this into your email:

Request type: [access / correction / portability / deletion / withdraw consent]

Verifying it is you

We have to be certain a request is genuine before we release or delete anything — releasing your data to someone impersonating you would itself be a privacy breach.

What we cannot delete

Some records must be retained by law, and a deletion request does not override them:

Anything retained on these grounds is encrypted, access-logged, and removed from normal operations. We will tell you specifically what was retained and why.

If you are not satisfied

Contact our Privacy Officer at privacy@snapfixx.ca. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or, if you are in Quebec, the Commission d'accès à l'information.

Coming soon. Self-service data download and account deletion will be available directly in your account settings and in the SnapFixx apps. Until then, email is the way to reach us, and the deadlines above apply from the day we receive your request.
